'Diesel' my first painting
I could never paint at school only draw, and sadly only gained a grade 3 CSE for my efforts! Back in 2016 I watched Portrait Artist of the Year and was inspired to learn to paint watching artist Christine Hook paint.
I found a weekend course Acrylic for Beginners and my story started from there.
I came home with a very large completed portrait of my dog which I completed in a day and shared on Facebook. The next thing I knew, I had 3 commissions for dog portraits.
I’ve now tackled landscapes and seascapes and sell my work regularly. I also starting to learn pastels which I enjoy immensely.
