Barry Embling

'My paintings are usually of places or species that I know well and have developed a strong connection with, especially in Gloucestershire and Scotland.

Interpreting a place or a moment through painting it strengthens my memory of the experience, the atmosphere, the light and movement, even the smells and sounds'.
